On 5 May 2026, Rome hosted the 2nd edition of the Agrivoltaic Forum, a leading national event dedicated to the theme of renewable energy in the agricultural sector, held under the title “Renewables that are good for agriculture”. Aldo Dal Prà, CNR partner of the Agrivoltages Project, took part in this important event, bringing the initiative’s scientific and technical contribution to the forefront of discussions among experts, institutional representatives and industry stakeholders. His participation provided an opportunity to share the results achieved by the project and to illustrate the potential of the agrovoltaic approach as a practical tool for the energy transition and the enhancement of agricultural land.
The relevance of the Agrivoltages Project is further confirmed by its inclusion in the Legambiente 2026 Dossier, where the initiative is cited in the section dedicated to “Case studies and good practices”. This recognition, granted by one of Italy’s most authoritative environmental organisations, attests to the project’s standing as a virtuous and replicable example of synergistic integration between agricultural production and renewable energy generation. A model that addresses the challenges posed by environmental sustainability, making a significant contribution to the advancement of national and European policies on agrovoltaics.
