Łomża, Poland — October 16, 2025. The official Kickoff Meeting of the Erasmus+ project AgriVoltage | Agrivoltaics for Sustainable Agriculture and Renewable Energy Integration in VET took place at the Międzynarodowa Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Łomży (International Academy of Applied Sciences).

Co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ VET (Vocational Education and Training) programme, AgriVoltage aims to strengthen mobility and innovation in vocational education and training across Europe, focusing on students and professionals in the green energy and agricultural sectors. The meeting brought together all project partners: Igor Skrodzki, project coordinator (MANS, Poland); Maryam Rahimi Jahangirlou and Uffe Jørgensen (Aarhus University, Denmark); Onur Taskin (Bursa Uludag University, Türkiye); Aldo Dal Prà (National Research Council, Italy); Recep Aydın and Miguel Carneiro (Green Solution Lab, Bulgaria); Nazlıcan Çetin and Nazlı Yaşar (Sustainable Development Studies Network, Belgium); and Natalia Truszkowska for Project Management. With this meeting, project activities officially began and will run until September 30, 2027. The AgriVoltage initiative seeks to modernize vocational education and training in the agrivoltaic sector by integrating AI-driven learning tools, renewable energy applications, and climate-smart agricultural practices. The project is structured into five key Work Packages: ì) Project Management and Implementation; ìì) Agrivoltaic Knowledge Base Development; ììì) Interactive Scenarios and VR Test Environments Based on Agrivoltaic Design Skills; ìv) Hybrid Agrivoltaic Learning Network; v) Dissemination and Promotion.

During their stay in Poland, the AgriVoltage consortium had the honor of attending the inauguration of the 2025/26 academic year at the Międzynarodowa Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Łomży. In the presence of the Rector and distinguished Polish authorities, the project was formally introduced as a forward-looking initiative promoting the integration of renewable energy and sustainable farming within vocational education.
