AgriVOLTages project aims to modernize vocational education and training in the emerging field of agrivoltaics, where crop production is combined with solar energy generation. The project will create a full learning pathway that equips farmers, agronomists and VET trainers with market-relevant skills in renewable energy integration, energy optimization and climate-smart agriculture. The project will produce a comprehensive agrivoltaic training package, 12 immersive VR scenarios with hands-on simulations, an AI-powered learning aid and a multilingual Hybrid Learning Network for ongoing knowledge exchange. These results will accelerate the adoption of agrivoltaic systems, foster sustainable food and energy production and support the EU Green Deal and REPowerEU objectives by reducing agriculture’s carbon footprint and enhancing rural energy resilience.
